Every two hours, someone in the UK will become paralysed. Globally, it is estimated that 15.4 million people are living with paralysis. At Spinal Research our vision is to create a world where paralysis can be cured, no matter when the injury occurred or where in the world.

Story

After Finishing my run across America in December 2018 I realized that just running a marathon in 2019 would not be enough. So, I have quite easily, somehow, convinced some friends to join me on the first edition of Peak District 100km Ultra

We will be running, and walking, as a team to try and raise funds once again for Spinal Research. This is a team effort to cover the 100km in one go. My last 100km was finished in 18.5 hours, but with the hills of the peaks I am hoping for less then one whole day!

Not only that but I will be joining some other Spinal Research runners at the Berlin marathon in September. I'm so excited to get back there and run again. Hoping to destroy my old PB and get close to 4 hours!

I know that almost every one of you reading this will have donated at some point over the last seven years of my fundraising. I hope that you can spare a few pennies in 2019 to support an amazing charity once again!
