4Louis is a UK charity that works across the country to support anyone affected by miscarriage, stillbirth and the death of a baby or child. We also work to improve the care bereaved families receive from health care and other professionals.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Towards the end of 2016 Jubb & I lost our baby to severe complications during pregnancy. Ultimately our baby boy, Eric had to be delivered at just 18 weeks. This was the most awful, awful time that can't quite be captured in words. As ever, in the darkest of times there are always shining lights & that's what 4Louis did for us. This charity provides bereaved parents or parents-to-be with a gift to capture the few memories they have of their child. Thanks to this charity we have pictures of Eric, hand & foot prints & many more memories that we wouldn't have been able to cherish without them.

So in May, me, Jubb, my brother Steve & our beautiful (& slightly insane) friends: Pub Dan, Gem P, Christine, Jackie & Steve Kinght are taking on the Yorkshire 3 peaks challenge to try and give at least 10 other families a box from 4Louis.

The Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge takes on the peaks of Pen-y-ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough, usually in this order, and in under 12 hours. The route is 24-miles long, and includes 5,200ft (1,585m) of ascent.

If you've taken the time to read this far & if you could throw a few quid in the pot we will be eternally grateful. I'm sure we'll have many a tale to tell at the end & the parents that receive a 4Louis box will be as thankful as we were.

Thank you, you are amazing!
