Story
It’s a basic human right to have freedom to believe. Open Doors is working in over 50 countries to provide vital aid and long-term support to Christians who are being persecuted because of their beliefs. By donating to my cause you can show these suffering believers that they aren’t alone, and provide them with the support they need.
Ever since visiting North Korea in 2013 I have been fascinated about the plight of Christians there. It was a very special time for me where God gave me visions for the future of the two Korea's and he put it on my heart to do what I can in order to encourage Koreans in their walk with God despite very difficult circumstances. I so excited to now be given this chance to stand on the other side of the border and look into the north from the south. To spend time with believers and let them know that people in the world care about them. I have never done a challenge like this before and I know it will be hard but this is such a small sacrifice compared to those that sacrifice their lives for the Lord.
Your money can help support the church in North Korea by providing emergency relief aid (medicines, clothes and food - Open Doors is currently feeding 60,000 people in North Korea), training through radio broadcasting and by distributing books and other Christian materials. It can also help support North Korean believers in China (who usually travel back to North Korea) by providing shelter, aid, training and training materials.Christians in North Korea face arrest, torture and almost certain death if their faith is discovered. And yet, hundreds of thousands of courageous Christians continue to choose Jesus, believing that He is worth the risk.
