As Great Run Birmingham has been postponed again I am running  the Manchester event as a 'last minute' entrant. I would like to raise some money for Ronald McDonald House Charities who provide free 'home away from home' accommodation at specialist children's hospitals across the UK, enabling families to stay close to their child and maintain a degree of normal family life. 

For my local friends we have a House in Birmingham next door to Birmingham Children's hospital - the green and grey building as you go over the A38 flyover. Any money you help me raise will help all the families that have to spend one night or in many cases weeks or months staying in any of our 12 Houses across the UK because their child is in hospital.

With so many fundraising events taking place right now and difficult times for so many people any donation would be greatly appreciated - a £1 or that small change left over from your night out goes a long way :). I have donated my sign-up subscription that I would have paid to take part in the Birmingham Great Run to get things started.
