Story

Eric Beaumont was a loving husband, dad and grandpa, and during his working life, a secondary schoolteacher. He loved music, walking, gardening and everything about nature.

He had been a committed Christian for most of his 85 years, and many people have been profoundly influenced by his love for God, his sharing of his Christian experience, and by his great gift of encouragement.

He was a member of Jubilee Church Shepperton
where he loved to worship God, and he played a full part in church life and its various activities despite his advancing years.

Eric died on Saturday 10th February 2018 at St Peter’s hospital, where care for him was outstanding.  He passed away peacefully, ready and eager to go to be with God whom he loved so dearly.

For many years he and his wife Rita have been supporters of Care, believing it to be of the utmost importance to declare Christian truth and demonstrate Christ’s compassion in society.
