This holiday season I am supporting Translators without Borders (TWB). I decided to run this fundraiser because I am part of this fantastic organisation with who I am learning a lot about the importance of languages in times of crisis. TWB believes in a world which knows no language barriers. They work with a network of more than 30,000 volunteer translators, who have already translated over 5 million words related to COVID-19. TWB also harnesses cutting-edge language technology to give power and a voice back to communities in crisis, who lack access to information in their own language. TWBs work has never been more important. They're working hard to bring more voices, and more languages, to the global conversation about COVID-19, equality, and our future. Thats why I am supporting their Language for a Just World holiday campaign. My personal goal is to fundraise €1000 by Christmas.
