Third time lucky, they say. First time it was lockdown, second time I got the damn thing that caused the lockdown in the first place and now I am trying my luck anew.

 If you were to ask me what I remember most of that sunny 2020 spring it would be cycling around east London delivering food parcels and other essentials to people who needed them most. All meticulously and quickly organised by the Round Chapel Old School Rooms as their services had to close .  Little did I know that this glorious building up my road provided so much more than a playgroup. It's a shelter and a cooked meal for the most vulnerable in my neighbourhood.  It's a weekly chat, and advice that keeps people going, it's a gardening session,
a well-being club and crèche for single mums, it's a community meal and it's a phone call.

I am only sending this out now as I have been injured for the last few weeks (of course, no smooth sailing ) but I have decided to do it! I will run the HH and raise funds for this inspiring charity (and NOT to see an osteopath as I know what they will tell me......) So wish me luck as I limp towards the finish line and spare a £ or 2. I realise times are hard and humanity it's not looking its best at the moment - as they say: act local -think global ✌️
