We envisage a world without Colorectal / Bowel Cancer; We are an independent community of patients, volunteers & clinicians improving outcomes through education & research into the prevention, early diagnosis and cure of colorectal cancer. Improving outcomes whilst having fun

Story

Cancer is having a pop at my dad.

Unfortunately, diagnosis took far too long. This situation is avoidable, but like most things- progress costs money. For this reason, I have chosen to support 'Red Trouser Day'. A charitable organisation, raising money to fund huge advances in diagnosis and treatment of bowel cancer.

Dad is planning to use his experience to support others come to terms with the hand they have been dealt, which to me is both brave and inspiring; whilst neither brave or inspirational, I will use my love of exploring this city as a way to do my bit too.

To do said bit, I'm planning on 'doing' the Capital Ring over the May Bank Holiday (25th-27th) to raise some cash. I/we will walk 20 miles (Sat); cycle 40 miles (Sun); walk another 20miles (Mon). The idea is that anyone can join and do as much or little of it as they like, as long as you challenge yourself enough to get a few pennies for a good cause.

We will start and finish in Hackney: route break down to follow.

If you want to join my efforts, get in touch, share this link and add to the pot. If walking isn't your bag, simply click and donate to do your bit too!

Please share with anyone who may wish to join or simply donate -more the merrier!
