This year I'll be putting on my training shoes and taking part in the Purple Wave, to support Manchester's cancer research. 

I will be running to show my support for my mum and dad who were both diagnosed with cancer earlier this year. I think the whole family can agree the last few months have been a massive shock and very scary, however I am incredibly proud of how well they are both doing. We all know someone whose life has been changed by cancer.
