This year I wanted to give something back to a good cause that meant something to me so I am raising funds for the Marie Curie Charity by running in the Ignis Asset Management 10k race on the 9th of May 2010 at Bellahouston Park in Glasgow. 

The nurses really looked after my dad when he was terminally ill with cancer and were really supportive to me and his relatives. It was comforting to know that he was in caring hands and well looked after during his last few weeks.

Every £20 raised will provide an hour of nursing care for someone with cancer. They also provide support to the family and friends through these emotional and sad times.
