Story
On Saturday 13th June, Megan, Kelsie and I will be walking 49 kilometers as part of the Lake District Ultra Challenge. We are aiming to raise as much money as possible for the Brain Tumour Charity.
As many of you may know, our best friend Abbey suffered from a rare form of brain tumour which progressed quickly and harshly. She put up one hell of a fight but sadly passed away on the evening of the 25th October. We all know she would hate the fuss, but it's for a worthy cause and it's close to our hearts. Let's help to prevent this happening to other people.
The Brain Tumour Charity is the world's leading brain tumour charity and the largest dedicated funder of research into brain tumours globally. Committed to saving and improving lives, we're moving further and faster to help every single person affected by a brain tumour. We're set on finding new treatments, offering the highest level of support and driving urgent change. And we're doing it right now. Because we understand that when you, or someone you love, is diagnosed with a brain tumour a cure really can't wait.
