Story
In 2024 at the age of 17, I was diagnosed with Graves' disease. Graves' disease is an autoimmune disorder where the immune system makes a mistake and attacks the thyroid gland , also a condition that has brought many challenges into my life. Despite the difficulties, I was fortunate to find support and guidance through the British Thyroid Foundation. This incredible charity helped me truly understand what was happening to my body and gave me hope for the future.
Now, I am preparing to take on the 21 mile Edinburgh Kiltwalk 2026 on 13 September 2026 — the biggest challenge I've ever set myself. This walk is not just a personal test of strength and endurance, it is a chance to raise vital funds for the British Thyroid Foundation, so they can continue their essential work supporting others affected by thyroid conditions. Any donation no matter how small would mean so much thank you 😊💗
