Story

Thank you for taking the time to visit my Just Giving page! I will be participating in the 23 mile Kiltwalk this year in honour of my son Reuben who is 4 years old. Here is a bit about his story..

On the 7th September 2024 our family were involved in a tragic car accident which completely turned our lives upside down. As we were hit by a car, Reuben unfortunately got trapped under it, he received multiple injuries. Reuben had to have skin grafts and under went extensive surgery to have part of his bowel removed. He also had multiple broken bones and lacerations to his head.

We stayed at the Glasgow Children’s Hospital for 11 nights where he received the most outstanding care and still currently attends in support of his recovery. I’d love to give back to all involved in Reuben’s Journey 💜

Last of all we are so incredibly proud of our brave boy and will be forever grateful we got to bring him home. I’ll be doing this walk not only for the charity, but for him 🩵

No donation is too small and we will be so grateful for anything we can raise for this amazing charity!

Thank you
