Story

As part of the Broomhill / Hyndland Parish Chuch's Junior Church, we are  taking on Tearfund’s 21 for 21 challenge to help people like Jessy, from Malawi.

Jessy just wants a good life for her family. But every day she has to watch them go hungry. Her crops have been ruined by flooding, and she has no other way of getting food.

Tearfund’s local church partners are helping people like Jessy to fight back against hunger and poverty. Trees are being planted along riverbanks to help protect against flooding, and communities are being given business training to help them find new sources of income.

I’m raising money so more of this life-changing work can happen.

Every £21 donated could empower 16 families like Jessy’s to free themselves from hunger.

Please take a stand against poverty by sponsoring me today. Visit Tearfund’s website to read more about Jessy and the amazing work that Tearfund are doing.
