Story
This month the ERM Foundation is raising money to help support full scholarships for 600 young women from Afghanistan to be able to complete a University education through the Asian University for Women (AUW).
ERM employees globally are walking, running, cycling and swimming 3,000km - the distance from Kabul, Afghanistan to the AUW campus in Bangladesh.
Hear from Masooma Niaza below who is an AUW student and an ERM scholar;
"The situation in Afghanistan is getting worse day by day, and an increase in poverty and extra restrictions on girls is making many of us more worried. I also have two more sisters in my family and I want to support them. I am thankful for my ERM scholarship because without this I would have to stay in Afghanistan without higher education and my future dreams and aims would not become true. In 2025, I hope to graduate with a double major in Bioinformatics and Public Health, so I can one day return to my country and work in the healthcare field."
Please donate through this Just Giving page, all the money raised will be matched by the ERM Foundation and will go directly towards supporting these young women obtain a life-changing university education.
