As most of you know, As of the 5th June 2018, I have done some changes to my life.
So far I have lost 7st 7lb and now trying to maintain and keep to living a healthier life style.

In this new life style I have found a love for running, So far I have managed 5K, 8K, 10K and Half Marathon races.

In April 2019 I signed up for my first ever marathon which will be

THE BRIGHTON MARATHON 2020.

So this brings me to the reason of this post, a very close friend and his family asked me if I would be able to run the Brighton Marathon 2020 for a charity for a Hospice which is very close to all the Woods family hearts.

So I have agreed.

I will be running for Ernest Woods, Anne, Ben and all the family.
To Raise Money For

Pilgrims Hospice,
Canterbury.

“We provide specialist care to patients and families across east Kent. Our vision is of a community where people with a life-limiting illness are supported and empowered, together with their family and friends, to live well in mind and body, and make the most of the time they have.
We have proudly provided skilled and compassionate care, completely free of charge, to the community of east Kent for over thirty years.

Approximately 30% of people who die in east Kent are cared for by us. We are now caring for more than 2,400 people each year - a figure that is set to climb in the years ahead as people live longer and with more complex conditions. This care is given in our three inpatient units in Canterbury, Thanet and Ashford, our therapy centres or in patients’ own homes. We also provide a 24/7 telephone support service to patients and carers and offer bereavement support.”
