Story
For 30 days, from the 28th September to the 28th October 2021, we will all be cycling 300 miles each in memory of our Grandad Ernie and his favourite charity, St Mungo's. He was quite literally the glue that held us together and we all grew up adoring him & continued to do so as adults. Whilst we all live in various parts of the country we have all committed to this challenge whether that be during cold October evenings after work or on static bikes! On average that's 10 miles a day, everyday for 30 days... some of us haven't cycled in years or rarely manage 10 miles a week... so please help us to raise as much as possible! Love Sarah, David, Alice, Ben, Rose, Sam, Jake and Harriet xx
A little bit about St Mungo's...
St Mungo’s outreach teams go out each night to meet people who are homeless and to help them off the streets. With 17 outreach teams we are one of the largest providers of outreach services in the country.
Each night we offer a bed and support to more than 3,150 people across the south and south west. We believe that people can – and do – recover from the issues that cause homelessness. We work to prevent homelessness and support people at every step of their recovery from homelessness.
