I love running and am an active member of Poole Runners so  I decided to enter the London Marathon and was delighted that Age UK accepted my application to run for them in April 2019.

In my job I regularly come into contact with the older generation and whilst many of my customers are amazing, keeping themselves active and healthy, I can see how difficult life can sometimes be especially when you suddenly find you have to cope on your own which can have a significant impact on your well-being.

Age UK provides a number of vital services that offer companionship, advice and support for millions of older people facing later life alone and all monies raised will go toward helping them to continue to provide that help and support to our older generation.
