We support Birmingham Children's Hospital to improve the lives of sick children

Story

Following a drunken conversation after an away game, a group of 12 Aston Villa fans including the Senior Estates Operations Manager from Birmingham Women's and Children's Hospital Trust agreed to tackle the Yorkshire three peaks challenge on 24th June 2023.

This is a 24.5 miles walk and a 2,153 metre climb in total, all of which is to be completed in under 12 hours. It's a tough challenge which involves lots of training to get around in one piece!

By doing this we hope to raise much needed money for the Birmingham Women's and Children's Hospital Charity. Last year, the Estates department raised over £13,000 for the charity, and as a result the department ensured that every sick child in Hospital, during the Christmas period received a gift. This year the Estates department have pledged to raise in excess of £50,000 and you can help help to achieve this goal by donating.

Your support will empower the hospital to take innovative approaches to treat some of the sickest children in the UK and your donations will help the hospital find new ways to cure and treat childhood diseases.

Thank you
