Legacy: Helping stars shine brighter

We live in a society where so many people have forgotten what's important; that we are all here to make a difference, to help each other to be the best version of ourselves. 

I often see education being undervalued which obviously leads me to consider reasons around this. Whilst thinking about this year and how I would give back, I came upon this experience with act!onaid. I was immediately drawn to the prospect of me being able to make a difference, so great, by building classrooms with a group of people to support young people in education.

In Rwanda, there is a growing population of children seeking for education as they know this is the means by which their lives will change for the better; that poverty is not the end all and be all of their stories and they recognise that, given the opportunity to attend an education facility, they can be the star that they were destined and purposed to be.

Next year (2020), I will be travelling to Rwanda to help build classrooms for young people who desire to be educated. This is an act of human empowerment in knowing that, because of this action, many young people will be able to dream again and be filled with hope for a brighter future. They will have full access to a facility that can accommodate them and give them a sense of purpose for the future.

I'm passionate about young people being given the necessary tools to be able to succeed and I need your financial support in doing this. Through your donations, we will be able to adequately provide these classrooms which are in dire need.

The funds you donate will make life-changing differences to children of Groupe Scolaire, Muko.
