Story
Thank you for looking at my page. I am running for Larsen (the very fact I’ve signed up for a half marathon, after relatively successfully dodging sport for my entire teens and twenties, is as much of a surprise to me as it is to Larsen’s mum, Holly).
Larsen was an inspirational boy, full of charm and always doing his best for others. Larsen’s Pride is a charity set up in his honour, to raise awareness of childhood brain cancer and to support children under 12 who receive a brain tumour diagnosis (and their families). I am a trustee and we are working to raise funds and awareness as we grow. The charity purchases Jellycat soft toys (Larsen’s favourite!) for children with a brain tumour diagnosis, to keep them company on their treatment journey. Another aim of the charity is to work on improving the experience of cancer treatment for children.
