Thomas's Fund provides Music Therapy in Northants for children (0-19) with life limiting illnesses or a disability, which, due to medical reasons, means they are too ill to attend school for extended periods. The Fund is dedicated to Thomas Smith who died, aged 10, from a life limiting condition.

Story

Thomas's Fund was established in 2007 to provide music therapy across Northamptonshire for children/young people aged 0 - 19 with life limiting conditions/complex needs who are too unwell to attend school for prolonged periods.  The charities team of HCPC registered music therapists work in the home, on the children's hospital wards and within community settings as appropriate, providing a music therapy outreach service.  The charity receives no statutory funding and provides its service solely through grant funding, fundraising and donations.

We are running the London Landmark Half Marathon to help raise funds for vital music therapy services across Northamptonshire.  We are organising outdoor charity bootcamp sessions and other fundraising events which we would be delighted to see you at.  Any donation you can give, no matter how small, would be very gratefully received.
