As Anne was a teacher all her career, she always supported local children in whichever community she lived and worked. The family thought it fitting that we support a local charity and one that directly benefits the children where Anne lived.

FOGS is the charity attached to Gosforth C of E Primary school where Anne's daughter Esther and granddaughter, Scarlett attended. 

Friends of Gosforth School support the children in school and aim to provide extra funds to resource visits, visitors and enhance provision for all the children at the school. In the past they have supported theatre companies attending, purchased books for the library and computer equipment.

Anne would have been proud that she had left some legacy to support the school.
