Hospice Walks are back in-person for the first time in three years! Step out with family, friends or work colleagues and join us this Spring as we celebrate the return of our much-loved 2022 Hospice Walks!

Story

Ethan (aged 12) previously completed the Jingle 5K for the Children's Hospice in December 2020.  Wanting a bigger challenge, he had intended to complete the Jingle 10K in December 2021, however Covid struck and he had to isolate instead.

At Garden Show Ireland, Ethan quickly spotted the Hospice stand and was straight over!  He picked up the Hospice Walks flyer and decided that he would do the Challenge Cuilcagh walk on 24 July.

The Cuilcagh Legnagbrocky Trail or "Stairway to Heaven" is a linear route 6.75K in length.  After 5K of quiet farmland track, a wooden stepped boardwalk (of 450 steps!climbs through steep terrain to reach the summit.  Cuilcagh Mountain is 665 metres high.

So a total of 13.5K in this mammoth walk!

Ethan would greatly appreciate any donations for this worthy cause.
