Established in 1935, our mission has remained to sustain and increase opportunities for people with disabilities with rewarding employment, with an occupation that enables them to contribute to society through work. Fundraising is crucial to ensure the long term security of Yateley Industries.

Story

When Ethan was 4 years old he was told he'd never walk again after getting encephalitis.  Now he can move around a little but not long distances.  He can only cycle if he's on a tandem with his Dad.  He will cycle 100 miles to raise money for Yateley, where he works.

Yateley support people with disabilities.  They have a factory, a café, a shop and some people live there too.  Yateley has been hit by COVID shutdowns and Ethan wanted to help.  He's targeting a big raise because the need is great.

Yateley Industries for the Disabled is a charity that supports people with disabilities and our aim is to encourage each individual to fulfil his our her own potential, both at work and at home. We achieve this by providing paid, meaningful employment in our supported workshop or charity shop and assisted accommodation where desirable.  We employ up to 85 people with disabilities and provide adapted accommodation for up to 48 residents on site. Sadly, small charities are facing significant financial pressures, and we are no exception.
