This fundraiser is for renovations to the Frank and Mimi Walsh Maternity Center, which will feature new cesarean-section suites, birthing suites, and all private postpartum rooms with enhanced proximity to a renovated NICU. Redesigned to be more efficient, comfortable, and accommodating to all patients, this renovation will ensure the most enjoyable patient experience at Overlook Medical Center. Both my brother and I were born at Overlook, so I feel I sense of attachment to the hospital that has helped my family so much. This fundraiser is only possible due to the efforts of the Overlook Junior Board, which is a program dedicated to educating select students of high schools in the Overlook Hospital's coverage area. The Junior Board learns the importance and complexity of philanthropy within the hospital and then organizes a fundraiser to benefit areas of the hospital in need. I am proud to be representing Governor Livingston High School in this organization and see this as a great opportunity to help the hospital that helped give me life!
