Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page. At our September 'Summer Pride Party' for LGBTQ+ alumni from Bedales, Eton, Harrow, Radley and Sherborne, we have chosen to raise money for the wonderful charity Just Like Us, the UK charity for LGBTQ+ young people. They work with thousands of primary schools, secondary schools and colleges across the UK, to make education more inclusive through school talks from their 18-25 year old LGBTQ+ ambassadors; their Pride Groups programme which sees safe, social spaces set up in schools for LGBT+ pupils to find mutual support; and School Diversity Week, which this year engaged schools representing 2.8 million pupils in a week long celebration of LGBTQ+ inclusion.
£10 could fund travel expenses so that JLU Ambassadors can visit a school poorly connected by public transport
£20 could support the development of resources for LGBTQ+ and ally groups in schools across the UK
£50 could train a JLU Ambassador to be able confidently to deliver talks in schools
