Story

Hi Everyone!

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

We are a group from the Eton College community doing a 5 kilometer run around Dorney lake on November 24th to raise awareness about dementia and to support the great local charity ADS (Alzheimer's Dementia Support).

'ADS' (https://www.alzheimersdementiasupport.co.uk/is a local and independent charity that assists, guides and actively supports people living with Dementia, their Carers and their families in our local area encompassing Windsor, Ascot, Maidenhead, Slough and Langley. Their services provide engaging, meaningful interactions and activities with advice and 'someone always ready to listen'.

Currently, in England and throughout the world, many are facing impossible costs for care and a daily battle to get the help that their loved ones so desperately need.

We know 5 kilometers is not a marathon, but we believe every little helps battle the terrible disease that puts an enormous strain on too many families.

Please join us in helping to support this charity by making a donation to our page.

Many thanks for your support,

Guy Lorenzotti and The Eton College Alzheimer's Team
