I am taking on the 'Go the distance Malawi' challenge in January raising funds for EMMS International. I will be cycling 360 miles and climbing 3002 metres which is the length of Lake Malawi and the height of Mount Mulanje.

I am doing this because I want to help EMMS to give girls and young women living in some of the most remote areas of Malawi hope. Hope of a bright future with access to healthcare that we all take for granted, hope of clean running water in their hospital maternity units. Hope of an education, hope of a career and hope that they will live in a world where they are not marginalised but looked up to as role models for young girls and boys. 

I am also hoping to fit back into my pre-Christmas shirts and trousers :)
