Right, so here is the news. I have signed up for the Cycle 274 Miles in August challenge, which means I am turning my August into something a bit more purposeful than the usual BBQs drinks and golf. The idea is simple, 274 miles on the bike across the month, raising vital funds for life-changing research, and shining a light on the stark reality that brain tumours remain the biggest cancer killer of children and adults under the age of 40.

This one is close to home for me, and I would really appreciate your support, whether that is a few pounds towards the cause or just cheering me on from the sidelines somewhere around week three as I imagine that will be the tough week.
