We tackle gender inequality and violence to improve the lives of women and girls

Story

Hi there!

We are the committee members of the University of Manchester's European Union of Women Society. We fundraise for Women's Aid in Manchester.

During the coronavirus pandemic, domestic abuse against women has heightened greatly. Many of these women are stuck at home with their abusive partners, some with children with nowhere else to go.

The UK’s largest domestic abuse charity, Refuge, has reported a 700% increase in calls to its helpline in a single day.

Please help us raise money for Women's Aid to support these women, and provide them with life-changing services to women and children across Manchester.

Please walk or run 10k to support our cause. We would appreciate any donations kindly, especially if you can't reach the 10k mark!

Stay safe!
