Hunger is one of the greatest obstacles that blights humanity, with the UN estimating there are 870million people chronically unnourished. Children being the most visibly effected, poor nutrition plays a major role in the half all child deaths. Malnutrition exacerbates the effects of disease and stunts growth and development to those already disadvantaged by circumstance.
