Some of my lovely Bristol friends and I will be taking part in the 3 Peaks Challenge in June this year. We will be climbing Ben Nevis, Snowdon and Scafell Pike (the highest mountains in Scotland, Wales and England respectively).
Our aim is to raise money for the Meningitis Research Foundation which does amazing work in order to combat Meningitis; an awful disease that affects more than 5 million people globally per year. 10% of these will die as a result and 20% will be left with permanent impairments, such as limb amputations and brain injury.
