National Three Peak Challenge · 2 June 2018

At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.

Story

Update: Unfortunately Eva's Great-grandmother was rushed to hospital the night before our attempt. We have decided to re-arrange our challenge and will now be making our attempt in the first week of August.

Eva decided last year she wanted to try and become the youngest girl to successfully complete the national three peaks challenge of climbing Ben Nevis, Scarfell Pike and Snowden in under 24 hours. While she will be supported by her mum and dad Eva will be climbing every step of the way herself.

Having lost two great-grandparents to Alzheimers in recent years it seemed like a good idea to raise money for a suitable charity in the process and to complete the challenge in their memories.

Alzheimer’s Society is transforming the landscape of dementia forever.Until the day we find a cure, we will create a society where those affected by dementia are supported and accepted, able to live in their community without fear or prejudice.
