I am taking part in Marathon des Sables 2018 in the Moroccan Sahara Desert, a race named as the “toughest foot race on earth” by the Discovery Channel. It is a self-suffient ultra marathon in the Sahara Desert, covering 250km over 6 timed stages, where runners must carry all food, equipment, clothing etc. throughout (only being supplied with rationed water and a bivouac to sleep under every night).

I have chosen to use this challenge to raise money for a brilliant local charity who change the lives of children in Jersey who are in desperate need for support from having special needs to not being able to afford accommodation or even to just get by in life. This charity needs your help to be able to fulfill its goals to help the children who need it most in their life.
