London Marathon 2021 · 3 October 2021 ·

We are the UK’s leading ovarian cancer research charity. In the UK only 1 in 3 women live more than 10 years after diagnosis. We are working to better prevent, treat and detect ovarian cancer, so that by 2032 at least half of women with ovarian cancer live for 10 years.

Story

On the 26th November 2020 Lee and his family lost their beloved daughter, sister and mother Sherrie to Ovarian cancer at the age of 47. Throughout the 12 months Sherrie was ill she fought with courage, determination and strength until the moment came for her to gain her Angel wings.

I am very excited be to running the London Marathon in October for Ovarian Cancer Action. Together, myself and Lee hope to gain awareness and raise as much as we can for an important charity but most of all we are proud to be taking part in memory of Sherrie and so many loved ones who’s lives have been effected and taken by cancer x
