The Christie charity provides enhanced services over and above what the NHS funds. Your support can help us to fund life-changing and potentially life-saving projects that will benefit cancer patients both now and in the future.

Story

My mate Peter had a really kindhearted dad, called Ian, but sadly he died two years ago. He was treated at The Christie and they really looked after him. It makes me sad that Peter and his little brother Ollie will not see their dad again, and that Ian will not see them grow up.

My Auntie Audrey died from cancer about five years ago and it was sad for the whole family. She was a loving and gentle person and we all really miss her.

Unfortunately I still have friends who are or have been ill and treated at The Christie and any money I raise will help them buy a new Proton Beam Therapy unit (there are only 2 being built in the UK, 1 here in Manchester and 1 in London) and other amazing technology which will help beat cancer.

I have run for The Christie six times - this is my seventh run.  Last year I raised just over a thousand pounds, so please help me beat my target and donate for this fantastic charity.  Please, please donate!

Thank you!
Evan
