Story

Thank you for visiting my JustGiving page.

I am visually impaired and I love running. The RNIB provide amazing opportunities like adventure holidays to kids growing up. I did 4 and loved them! They really helped me to learn to be brave and to go out of my comfort zone and now I can't STOP!

Last year, I was very proud to be the first visual impaired runner to take part in the National Colleges Cross Country finals, and I was voted Sports Person of the Year, at my college! I also started running longer distances, doing my first half marathon. Then 3 more! At the beginning of March 2019, I ran my first Grizzly - 20 miles. And grizzly it was, but a lot of fun!

Running gives me confidence and I have met so many amazing people through it, including my Crewkerne running club friends.

A few weeks ago I had my 18th birthday. Being 18 means I can run my first full marathon. Yay! I know from the training that it is going to be a big challenge for me. So, with your help, I want to say a big "Thank you RNIB", by raising money for them, and help them to give more children the same support.

So, on the 7th April, I am going to run the ASICS Manchester Marathon, with my Dad as my guide runner.

Any sponsorship would be great. No amount too small. Thank you!
