Story
I AM SHAVING MY HAIR to a grade 1 on the 23rd April 2011 to raise money for BLESMA (British Limbless Ex-Servicemen's association)! "Oh my god why is she shaving her hair" you might say...... well the person who inspired me to do such a drastic thing to raise money is the bravest and most courageous man I know... Captain Luke Sinnott, My Brother! He was involved in an explosion in Afghanistan on the 20th November 2010 and unfortunately lost both his legs and had severe damage to his left arm.
My brother will be the one to shave my hair off on that fateful day (to his amusement im sure)and I could not think of a more perfect person to do it. I am so very proud of my brother and I feel it an honour to be able to call myself his sister.
Since the accident I have met many men and women in a similar situation to my brother and I can not begin to tell you how amazing all these brave men and women are.
I feel it an honour to be able to raise money for such a worthy cause, so all of you please dig deep and take the time to donate and help me reach my target.
