Story

Evelyn, Leena, Edie, Zoë, and Isla are raising money to support children in Ukraine by doing a 12 hour film marathon. Help us to help kids in Ukraine!

We are Evelyn, Leena, Edie, Zoë, and Isla and are aged 8 to 9 and live in the UK.

"We are lucky in the UK and want children in Ukraine to be safe, to have access to clean water and food."

"We will do all we can to help the children of Ukraine, just think how hard it would be if YOU yourself were in that scary situation. Even a small donation can make a big difference."

"We are very concerned about the situation in Ukraine and want to help kids there who are affected by recent events."

We are doing a 12 hour film marathon to raise awareness and money for UNICEF:
  • The film marathon will be Sunday 6th March from 8am till 8pm
  • We will provide updates on the day on this fundraising page, and on Twitter (here: https://twitter.com/Bartmanblues7) and on Facebook (if you know our parents)
  • We will be mostly watching non-UK and non-US kids films, including any popular in Ukraine (drop us a message if you have recommendations!)
  • Evelyn will be doing the full 12 hours, Leena, Zoë, and Isla will be joining as much as they can - watch out for siblings and other friends who may pop by too!
Please donate to help protect children in Ukraine.

Conflict is escalating in Ukraine, putting millions of children and their families in immediate danger. More than half a million children in Ukraine are already affected as the conflict in the east of the country enters its eighth year. Homes, schools, water supplies and hospitals are damaged. Landmines pose a major threat to children's lives. UNICEF is especially concerned for the safety and wellbeing of children who have become separated from their families. UNICEF has been working around the clock to keep children safe since this conflict began eight years ago. We are helping to make sure that child health and protection services are sustained and families have clean water and nutritious food. Please donate to help protect children in Ukraine.
