Story
In May 2020 Dave and Mike will be trekking 130km from Lukla to Everest Base Camp and back in a bid to raise funds for Ronald McDonald House Manchester.
It will take around 9 days to reach Everest Base Camp reaching an altitude of 5550 metres.
The reason for the trip is to help Ronald McDonald House Manchester to continue with the exceptional work they are already doing in providing a 'home away from home' for families with children in hospital.
£25 pays for 1 night of accommodation for a family and allows parents, siblings and other family members to stay close to the hospital when their children are being looked after.
RMHC have helped nearly 50,000 families in their 30 year history.
The longest stay in Ronald McDonald House is 999 nights and in 2018 the houses helped 865 families along with many more in 2019.
