Everest Challenge Tinto Hill · 1 May 2021

We care for patients with a range of needs including symptom management, rehabilitation as well as end of life care. Our goal is to provide physical, psychological, social and spiritual care for our patients and their loved ones in a calm, peaceful and welcoming environment.

Story

At 10am on the 1st of May 2021 Andy McCreadie and Andrew Coyle will attempt to run the elevation of Mt Everest up Tinto Hill, the highest peak in central Scotland.

Mt Everest stands at 8848m with the ascent profile of Tinto hill (from the Carpark) being 502m. This means they will need to summit the hill 18 times covering a distance of about 78 miles. They are attempting to complete this in 24 hours, running as a relay.

They have chosen St Andrews hospice, a local charity who provide specialist palliative care to people living with life-limiting illnesses.Their mission is to provide support not only for their patients, but also for their loved ones and carers too. Their goal is to provide physical, psychological, social and spiritual care for their patients in a calm, peaceful and welcoming environment.

Any dontations would be much appreciated!
