Trek to Everest Base Camp · 16 June 2009

Horsfall House is an award-winning, not-for-profit Nursing Home, with a thriving Day Centre and Home Care service based in Minchinhampton. We deliver care to residents and clients, including for those living with dementia. We also offer offering palliative care, respite and short breaks.

Story

We are trekking to Everest Base Camp. OK, it's been done before. But we'll be going up dressed as farmyard animals. We reckon this is the first time that an ostrich, a bee, a pig, a frog, a horse, a cow, and a parrot (!) will flock together under the shadow of planet Earth's highest peak.

We hope to raise lots of money for Horsfall House in Glos, UK. Horsfall provides an invaluable service looking after, with great patience and kindness, elderly people suffering from Alzheimer's and Dementia.

We would appreciate even the smallest of contributions.

Many thanks,

Maria, Mafalda, Angus, Ben, Rak, Mike, Simon & Will
