The SPRING FOR THE CROFT campaign was set up by charity Earth in Common, to help people reconnect with nature, bring people together either in person or virtually and move their bodies to give folk a boost of spring vitality. We encourage people to fundraise for us between 19th March and the 29th April celebrating the Celtic festivals of Ostara and Beltane. By doing so you can help make a real difference to the work of the organisation, seeking to build a stronger food system in Scotland through the development of its Urban Crofts model. The Urban crofts model looks to create ways of connecting to the wider environmental concerns that we face by creating a fairer, more resilient and local community focused way of accessing land and food grown there.
