Evie’s big hair cut · 21 August 2020

The Little Princess Trust provides real hair wigs, free of charge, to children and young people who have lost their own hair through cancer treatment or to other conditions. The charity is also one of the largest funders of childhood cancer research in the UK.

Story

When she was the ripe old age of 3, Evie decided that she wanted to grow her hair down to her bottom.  Five years on she has achieved that aim and she would now like to cut it off and donate it to the Little Princess Trust so that it can be made into a wig for a child with cancer.  The cost of making one wig is £550, so this is the rather ambitious target that she has set herself to raise.

A little more information on the charity:

When a child loses their hair to cancer or another condition, we'll be there with a free, real hair wig to help restore their confidence and identity. We won't stop until the research that we fund ends childhood cancer forever.
