Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.
Molly Florence Jackson passed away Monday 2 March, ending her long winter of fighting cancer, and moving on into her spring - peacefully and with a strength of will that left us behind smiling with love and admiration. For two years she fought at every turn, going through numerous treatments but with a quiet determination to enjoy every drop and nuance of her life.
The staff at Michael Sobell Hospice empowered this attitude immensely. Their expertise is matched only by their compassion and they never once failed to make us all feel comforted and taken care of.
So if you were thinking of sending the Jackson family a card, or flowers, please donate instead. Even if just a couple of pounds - it all adds up and makes a huge difference.
The charity enables services such as a day centre that cancer sufferers can attend every Wednesday, where they can connect and laugh with other people who are in their situation over a glass of wine, a board-game, or a piece of cake. It's a highlight for many people who are in terrible circumstances and Molly could not have had the same strength for herself and her family without it.
Heartfelt thanks and know that Molly would be hugely proud to have helped Michael Sobell Hospice through you, and would give you all a big hug and a huge smile if she could.
Lots of love, The Jacksons
