Mission:Unbreakable 2019 · 13 October 2019 ·

North Devon Hospice provides free care and support to individuals and their loved ones who are faced with the impact of a life-threatening illness. Everyday we help over 100 people, either in their own homes or at Deer Park, completely free of charge.

Story

The EweMove team are taking part in Mission:Unbreakable to raise money for the North Devon Hospice!  Are we mad?  Probably!!!!

Russell, Claire, James and Ed will be taking part in this event on Sunday 13th October.  To help with the fundraising we have come up with an idea.... we think it would be great fun if someone has to wear a sheep costume for the day at work!  So if you are kind enough to donate to this wonderful cause, in the comments you can also put who your vote is for.... will it be Russell, Claire, James or Ed?  

So what is Mission:Unbreakable?

A commando-style course filled with real challenges. We will be tested by mud, fire, water, ice and a range of assault course obstacles we'll need to conquer in order to call ourselves an 'Unbreakable.' This year a host of BRAND NEW OBSTACLES have been added to the course, including the fearsome Travelator, which will be the final test for our weary legs before crossing the finish line. 

Mission:Unbreakable redefines the traditional 'mud run' obstacle course. That's because the course has been designed with the help of Commandos from 24 Engineer Regiment, based at RMB Chivenor, who will also be spread around the course providing plenty of encouragement. 


Every pound raised from Mission:Unbreakable will help North Devon Hospice care for local people right here in your local community. The charity is hoping to raise £80,000 at the event, to fund two nurses on the bedded unit. They provide care at the toughest times, right around the clock, and we really want to help support this fantastic cause.

The North Devon Hospice is a charity very close to our hearts, as it will be with a lot of the local community, as most of the team have had family members receive the amazing end of life care this wonderful place offers.
