We are unable to hold our annual Festival of Remembrance this year due to Covid restrictions. Instead we will remember the men from East Wickham and Welling, who died in the First World War, in a short service which will be pre-recorded and avaliable on our website www.ewt.org.uk on Remembrance Sunday.

Instead of our normal collection at the Festival of Remembrance, we invite you to give a donation to Greenwich and Bexley Hospice's Emergency Appeal.  Like most charities, the Hospice needs funds more than ever at this time when many of their funding streams have been affected by Covid. They receive only about one third of their funding from the NHS and so depend on the generosity of the community to fund much of the care they provide for local people.
