Thank you for visiting the Climb of Life/Ride of Life 2019 JustGiving homepage. Our annual mountain trek, organised by Philip and Heather Lawson, raises vital funds for The Institute of Cancer Research.

Story

Two of our colleagues are participating in a fundraiser event
to raise funds for the fight against cancer, raising money for The Institute of Cancer Research (ICR).

Graeme Gladwinfield and Garry Wright will be travelling to Cumbria next month; joining other members of the office product sector for a gruelling challenge. The team's aim this year is to cover 2 million steps on the highest fells of the wintery Lakeland mountain range.

The ICR has one vision: a world where people can live their
lives free of cancer as a life-threatening disease. They undertake world-class research designed to improve outcomes for people with cancer, making discoveries that help create better drugs to help defeat cancer.

To help the ICR continue their work, Graeme and Garry will
be trekking up the Cumbrian peaks in cold and tough conditions, a
strenuous and unenviable task for even the fittest adventurer. The trek takes place on Friday 8th November, in what will be the event’s 32nd year. Their aim is to try and beat last year's total of £103,000 which was raised thanks to the support of many generous sponsors.

We spoke to Graeme who said:

“Garry and I are looking forward to the challenge, even though we know it will be tough going in typically cold, wet and windy conditions. We are proud to do our part in raising much-needed funds for the ICR, through the support of so many kind sponsors.”

Please consider donating to this very worthwhile cause. You can  support Graeme and Garry’s challenge by donating on our JustGiving page here.

Thank you for your support!
