Story
With us all having to stay at home recently it means we will have been able to save on those coffee trips at the office. Sam Jones and team are taking on the Million Makers virtual lock in this year.
£3 could buy the course materials needed to teach a young person, £15 could pay for a young person’s math's qualification, £100 could fund a 2-hour mental wellbeing session for a vulnerable youth, £250 could fund a young person attending an after-school club, £1000 could support 35 young people by funding a day of mock job interviews with
employers!
Any amount you can donate will make a huge difference to help a young person begin their careers.
Pip Cunion’s story (Senior Site Coordinator):
“I found out about the The Prince’s Trust course via the Job centre
plus. They advised there was a skills course and we could come out with a job by the end of it. The Prince’s Trust course actually helped me realise and earn about so many different roles (as I was previously all about the retail) Ian, the tutor, was great with us and we learnt about excel and gained skills on how to use it.
The trust was very valuable for me as it was a kick start into a career
path that I never realised I wanted to go down. If The Prince’s Trust didn't have that course, I would have never started at Atos as I didn't even know Atos existed until I had completed the course. I found it to be incredibly beneficial overall for being given information, training and awareness of how to get into employment”
